Pelisor Castle is located in Sinaia, Romania. It is also called "Little Peles" because it is part of a complex to which the larger Peles Castle belongs. Both castles are located in Transylvania in the heart of Romania.
Pelishor Castle is built in a modern style as a summer residence. It has 70 halls, the most impressive are the living room and dining room, which are designed to welcome distinguished guests. The walls of the living room are covered with panels, paintings and wood carvings. The main entrance has a height equal to three floors. The most famous halls in it are the Golden Room and the Golden Bedroom, the office of Princess Mary, King Ferdinand and the Chapel.
Nearby is the Sinai Monastery, Bran Castle, which is believed to belong to Dracula and the picturesque center of Brasov. To the southwest of Bran, there is a captivating steep slope from the Fundata Pass through the Petra Strayului Mountains. The village of Fundata is famous for its smoked cheese and berry syrup.
