Nessebar is a town located in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Nessebar, Burgas district, and in the vicinity to the north it almost merges with the largest Bulgarian Black Sea resort Sunny Beach.

The city is the administrative center of the municipality of Nessebar and is one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded more than 3200 years ago.

The distance to Bourgas is 36 km.

In Old Nessebar there are 23 churches and cultural monuments - from an early Christian basilica to a domed Byzantine church - examples that reflect the architectural and artistic influence of the Greek, Roman and Byzantine eras.

Today, ancient Nessebar preserves its romantic atmosphere with its narrow cobbled streets, small squares, two-storey houses with stone ground and wooden upper floors, which have external stairs and protrude above the streets, souvenir shops, pubs, taverns and beautiful flower gardens. .

The town is one of the main tourist attractions on the South Black Sea coast and especially for tourists vacationing in the resort of Sunny Beach, which is attached to the north of the town of Nessebar.
