St. Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom

St Andrews is a town in eastern Scotland. It is located on the North Sea coast in Fife, about 40 km north of Edinburgh and 13 km south of Dundee.

Until the 18th century, St. Andrews was the church capital of Scotland. The city is home to the oldest Scottish university, founded in 1413. This is where Prince William met Kate Middleton!

Today, St. Andrews is an important golf center. Other sights of the city are the ruins from the old grand cathedral to the sea, built in 1158, destroyed during the Great Reformation, St. Andrews Castle, built in the 13th century and the tower of St. Rules, built in the 12th century.

According to the 2012 census, St. Andrews has a population of about 16,800.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a pair of white swans walking freely near the water.
Crows everywhere to make it even more gothic than it already is. Amazing!

I love how the people of St Andrews are all expert gardeners!

Don't forget to take a photo!

Amazing views all day! St Andrews is truly a heavenly place to be!
Look at this breathtaking beauty!
